Tracey Williams is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 10 years experience working with children, adolescents and young adults with congenital and acquired neurological conditions. She works as Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, specialising in conducting comprehensive assessments with children and young people with acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, and other complex medical conditions. She is well versed in assessment of individuals with significant physical or sensory difficulties, and has extensive experience liaising with health professionals, schools, and insurers (iCare and NDIS). Prior to working at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead she worked with older adults with mental health issues at Westmead Hospital.
Tracey is a Registered Psychologist with endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia (Registration Number: PSY0001630861). She graduated with her Masters of Clinical Neuropsychology and PhD in Cognitive Science from Macquarie University in 2012. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Psychology (with 1st Class Honours) at Griffith University.
Tracey is also a Psychology Board of Australia endorsed Supervisor for Clinical Masters students as well as Clinical Neuropsychology Registrars. She supervises Masters and PhD level research students.
Tracey has over 15 years experience working with children and young people across clinical and research domains.
She has worked with children and young people of all ages, and with families from all walks of life. Tracey is very conscious that every family has their own unique story.
She is friendly, approachable and compassionate.
Tracey has worked with children and young adults with a range of congenital and acquired neurological conditions. She has a special interest in rare neurological conditions, including auto-immune and immune-mediated acquired brain injuries.

In 2012 Tracey completed a PhD looking at social and emotional processing in Fragile X Syndrome.
